Cirrus Open House April 27th, 2017, Everyone is welcome.

Bismarck Aero Center will be hosting Cirrus Aircraft on April 27th, 2017. This free event is open to the public to come out to and learn more about the amazing features Cirrus Aircraft offers. Named 2016 "World's Best-Selling High-Preformance Piston Airplane, Cirrus Aircraft can help you improve your business or make connecting with your family easier. Find the Good Life in North Dakota

Bismarck Aero Center is a proud supporter of the Find the Good Life in ND Campaign. This campaign helps highlight the best reason for families to move to North Dakota and find a better way of life. The opportunities are here. Now is the time to bring good people to North Dakota.

Annual Aviation Career Day

Each year, Aviation Career Day gives local 5th graders a chance to come out to the airport and learn about different careers in aviation. Events have seen over 700 students each year participate in the event 



 

 

 

Annual Bismarck Fly-in/Drive-in Pancake Breakfast

The second Sunday in September, Bismarck Aero Center hosts a Fly-in out of Maintenance Hangar #53. New attractions are added each year to go along with the Shriners Dusters Classical Car Club, Flight Simulators, Private Airplane & Helicopter rides and don't forget about the delicious pancakes. 

All the proceeds from the event go to the Robert E. Asker Scottish Rite Speech Therapy Center for Children in Bismarck.

Dakota Zoo "Zoo Boo"

The annual Zoo Boo trick or treating saw almost 5,000 children and adults visit the zoo. Bismarck Aero Center and AEND attended with the Flight Simulator, aviation education materials and plenty of candy for all the kids.

Wreaths Across America

Garmin Night

Bismarck Aero Center hosted a "Garmin Night" May 14th at 6pm at airport building 53. The event is free to all, and lunch will be provided. Gives aviators a chance to look at some new equipment on the marketing and get the latest on ADS-B requirements.

Junior Achievement

Bismarck Aero Center is dedicated to the Bismarck/Mandan youth. That is why we have donated to and supported Junior Achievement Events like JA Monopoly and the JA Casino Night.

Relay For Life Walk/Survivor Dinner

Team BAC (Battle Against Cancer) is passionate about supporting the fight against cancer. Not only have we been fortunate enough to bring a good team out to the Relay for Life Walk, but we hosted the Survivor Dinner in our very own Hangar. Each year, the Survivor Dinner sees over 400 cancer survivors come together.


 

Aviation 101 at Bismarck Aero Center

About 40 kids ranging from elementary to junior high, came out to learn more about aviation. Those that came out heard presentations from ND Game and Fish, Bismarck Airport Rescue and Fire Fighters, Civil Air Patrol and Bismarck Aero Center Flight Instructor. Flight Simulators were also set up by AEND.

 
 

Hangar Dance benefiting the Civil Air Patrol

Bismarck Aero Center has hosted an old fashion Hangar Dance to benefit the Civil Air Patrol. The event brought people together in our old WWII hangar.


 

CAP Movie on the Ramp

The Bismarck Civil Air Patrol Squadron ND030 and Bismarck Aero Center sponsored a "Movie on the Ramp" night.

 

"Dreams in Flight" Celebration

In partnership with The GOD's CHILD PROJECT, Bismarck Aero Center hosted this free family fun event. Kids got the opportunity to try out flight simulators, fly model airplanes and many more fun activities! GOD'S CHILD PROJECT gave away 17 pallets of Hess helicopter and rescue truck sets to local non-profit organizations including Carrie's Kids, The Abused Adult Resource Center, Welcome House, The Salvation Army Western ND Service Extension and Ruth Meiers Hospitality House.

The B-17 Sentimental Journey will be at Bismarck Aero Center!

August 29-September 3 everyone is invited to come out and see this historic aircraft! Come out to the North End of the Ramp.
